SN Brussels suspends Mumbai route effective 06JAN-19

SN Brussels Airlines has officially announced (via GDS publication) that it shall be suspending all its services to BOM-Mumbai, India effective 06JAN 2019.

Currently the airline operates 6 weekly nonstop flights from its Brussels hub using an Airbus A330-200. The route has obviously not been performing well for the airline to undertake such a bold step. It is expected that the aircraft used for BOM shall be re-directed to boost its better performing African services.

Round trip passenger demand between BRU and BOM/DEL in 2017 versus 2016 was as follows below:

BOM - 61,000 vs 42,000

DEL - 38,000 vs 37,000
